Dear Kindergarten Parent(s)-
Just a reminder about our Lake Hills pick-up and drop-off school policy.
Mrs. Mueller mentioned this at the Open House; however, not everyone was able to make it, so here’s the procedure for future reference, as follows :
Please drop-off and pick-up your child at the front entrance of the school near the office. If you drop off your child after school starts, please walk your child up to the office and sign him/her in at the desk, and complete the form stating your reason for being late. For pick-up, just drive up to the stop sign by the sidewalk to the office, and our staff/safeties will send out your child. Please do not come to the classroom. We want to avoid any unnecessary distractions this causes and/or disruptions to the flow of our routine. Thank you in advance.
Did you know…
-our DIBELs testing is complete ? The kids did a fantastic job with the literacy activities !
-we also learned three news songs about our Traffic Light Behavior Program ?
-we’re almost finished with our 3 B’s Book ?
-we learned about rhyming pairs in the book GOODNIGHT MOON ?
-wrote a predictable class chart story called, "Goodnight" ? The kids told about something they say goodnight to…then illustrated the page for the class book.
-we’re waiting for the School Store to open to "cash" in our Caught Being Good Slips for good behavior at school ?
This week we’ll kick off our Saxon Phonics Program, our new science unit on Senses (see detailed letter in BBT), and Writing Workshop !
